At TC Transcontinental, we've got it made, and that's because of the expertise of our team.We are currently looking for a Quality Manager to be onsite 5 days a week (Non-Remote/Hybrid) with some travel to a sister site in Albany, GA (10-15%) to ensure customer satisfaction through the efficient production of superior quality products by leading the development and deployment of the Quality Management System. Drive continuous improvements and contribute to verification assessments that provide roadmaps to a total quality and performance culture. Directly engage with all quality and production personnel to gain a good understanding of workplace realities, as well as technical and production issues. This role requires an individual who enjoys a hands-on technical and functional leadership approach.

When your actions lead to success.

  • Responsible for the Quality Assurance Laboratory, personnel and quality-related projects and initiatives throughout the Battle Creek facility.

  • Develop customer and supplier relationships, both internal and external, to assure Customer and key performance indicators are met.

  • Utilizing cross functional teams, analyze and investigate the root cause of customer returns and develop and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

  • Manage the collection and manipulation of all related process and product data, analyses and records, which shall be used to support Quality System requirements, including those that are customer- and supplier-related.

  • Use data collection, statistical analyses, and presentations (i.e. SPC, pareto charting, process capability) to drive data-based decision making and opportunity prioritization.

  • Develop quality assurance training programs and conducting training on quality-

  • Participate in product development stage gate review meetings, including the identification of customer expectations and requirement to ensure efficient implementation of new products that meet all customer quality requirements.

  • Provide leadership, direction and develop key performance indicators for the continuous improvement initiatives within the Battle Creek Quality Management System, including maintenance of documents and data systems.

  • Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards.



When your expertise drives us.

  • Degree from accredited 4-year college or university. Technical degree preferred.

  • Experience and extensive knowledge of HACCP and BRC Standards.

  • Working knowledge of color theory and flexographic printing, adhesive laminating and slitting.

  • Working knowledge of Statistics, SPC, TQM, Problem Solving Techniques.

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office operation systems.

  • Strong leadership, managerial and communication abilities.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Proven ability to provide inspirational leadership in a manufacturing environment.
