Job Title: Test Area Technician
Location: 2001 Brainard Rd. Ft Huachuca, Arizona 85613
Clearance Level: Active DoD - Secret
Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) Test Evaluation and Certification II Services (TEC II) contract provides technical solutions for the DOD in support of Test and Evaluation (T&E) services and T&E enabling services. JITC's service requirements are categorized in the following areas: T&E Performance Requirements, T&E Capability Management Requirements, T&E Capability Requirements, and Overarching Contract and Task Order (TO) Requirements. TEC Services are provided to DoD Combatant Commanders/Services/Agencies, federal and state agencies, coalition partners, and commercial entities to aid in the design, development, acquisition, integration, deployment, operational use, and sustainment of new and enhanced Information Technology/National Security System capabilities.
SUMMARY
Agile-Defense is seeking a Radio Test Technician to support testing efforts at the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC). This role involves performing radio frequency (RF) standards conformance and interoperability bench testing for high-frequency (HF), very high-frequency (VHF), ultra-high-frequency (UHF), and UHF satellite communications (SATCOM) radio terminals. The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and interoperability of critical communication systems, contributing to the Department of Defense's (DoD) mission success.

Responsibilities
Participate in test planning meetings, providing expertise to technical and programmatic discussions.
Identify test equipment, power requirements, and the Unit Under Test (UUT).
Prepare and load the UUT with the required software for testing.
Ensure all test equipment is calibrated and functioning as expected.
Assemble and configure test stations with necessary equipment.
Conduct bench-level testing under the guidance of an RF Engineer, following established military standards and procedures.
Record test data and update procedures as necessary.
Assist in analyzing test data and preparing conformance and interoperability documentation.
Tear down test setups and return lab infrastructure to baseline for future use.
Perform regression testing and maintain inventory of customer-owned equipment.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree; or Associate's degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience; or a minimum of 60 semester hours toward a degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience; or 8 years of relevant experience without a degree.
Degrees or education must be in a technical field relevant to the job duties. Additional certifications may substitute for education or experience.
Required Skills:
Hands-on experience with RF lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, multi-meters, analyzers, and signal generators.
Familiarity with RF equipment testing procedures and standards.
Strong troubleshooting skills for RF components, including analog and digital circuits.

Environmental Conditions
* Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available
Strength Demands
* Sedentary - 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/carry of small articles. Some occasional walking or standing may be required. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
