The Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions & Recruiting serves as a member of the McIntire Graduate Marketing & Admissions (GMA) team; they report directly to the Associate Director of Graduate Admissions & Recruiting. The Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions & Recruiting is responsible for effectively recruiting, evaluating, and yielding students to the McIntire Professional Programs, which currently include the M.S. in the Management of Information Technology and M.S. in Business Analytics programs, and works in collaboration with another Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions & Recruiting to execute successful program awareness and candidate recruitment outreach efforts to generate program interest and applications to the Professional Programs; they execute the corresponding outreach and efforts needed to successfully yield candidates to the Professional Programs. The Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions & Recruiting serves as a member of the Admissions Committee and evaluates applications, conduct interviews, recommends admissions decisions, and provides insight and guidance on selection and yield. Anticipated hiring range: $65,000 - $75,000 This position is in-person and based at Sands Family Grounds in Rosslyn, VA, and will include periodic travel to Charlottesville to engage with the other members of the Graduate Marketing & Admissions team as well as McIntire and UVA professional colleagues. The position requires regular evening and some weekend work as well as the ability to travel throughout the U.S. The position is eligible for participation in UVA Flex Work as outlined in the University Workplace Flexibility Policy. Please note that UVA Flex Work arrangements are reviewed regularly to ensure they meet the evolving needs of the department, school, and University as approved by the Unit Supervisor and Dean's Office.
