Medical Assistant I/MRI Tech Aide

Provides assistance with preparation for patient MRI exams. Includes initial MR safety screening, obtains pertinent clinical history. Greets patients promptly and courteously. Instructs and provides assistance to patients for changing clothing. Assists in setting up scan and exam rooms for upcoming exams, handling equipment with care. Assists with room cleaning between exam exam and between shifts. Stocks supplies in MRI exam and scan rooms. Assists patients with limited mobility. Works closely and professionally with patients, MRI Technologists, and scheduling staff to provide a safe and positive experience for all patients and staff. Utilizes Hospital and Radiology Information System, Epic, for safety review and documentation of exams related activity. Proactively recognizes potential safety concerns and demonstrates ability to take preventative steps for safety.

High School diploma/GED. Work experience in a medical setting preferred but not required.
