Dean, College of Business

Lipscomb University seeks a visionary leader to serve as Dean of the College of Business. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction and administrative oversight for the AACSB-accredited College, aligning with Lipscomb's Christ-centered mission and driving academic excellence, innovation, partnerships and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership that supports the College's Christian identity and fosters innovation and growth.
• Oversee academic departments, ensuring high-quality programs and continuous improvement at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Manage faculty and staff, promoting a culture of excellence in teaching, research, and service.
• Develop and implement the College's strategic plan, aligning with university-wide initiatives.
• Oversee budget and resource allocation, identifying opportunities for development and fundraising.
• Cultivate external relationships with alumni, business leaders, and potential partners to enhance the College's reputation and opportunities.
• Collaborate with university leadership and other colleges to foster cross-sector partnerships and interdisciplinary programs.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards leading program reviews and assessments.
• Support student engagement and development, emphasizing academic, personal, and spiritual growth.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• The academic credentials and record of scholarly achievement or a notable, recognized leader in business.
• A terminal doctorate in a relevant field is preferred; however, candidates with a master's degree and innovative leadership experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
