A little about this position:

  • The Brand Videographer is responsible for shooting and editing video for distribution on online video platforms, leveraging a broad range of distribution channels.
  • The candidate will shoot and produce video content relating to Mammoth Mountain's target segments (families, young singles and couples, youth action sports and luxury/boomers) for distribution in the travel, resort, and action sports industries - in addition to Brand paid, earned and owned channels and profiles.
  • He/she is responsible for managing video content distribution, optimization and for creatively coming up with new ideas that target company initiatives which are heavily family and young singles and couples focused.
  • Additional responsibilities include creating promotional and informational videos, as well as shooting live events and interviews.


Requirements:
  • High School graduate, degree in video/film production helpful, but not required
  • Experience in journalism, pitching, story-boarding and post-production
  • Experience with lighting and rigging, basic knowledge of a three-light setup is key
  • Familiarity with audio mixing and microphones
  • Computer literate in working with Mac OS X operating system
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Lightroom, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve Strong formatting and post-workflow knowledge (codecs & conversions)
  • Ability to manage video projects from conception to a finished project
  • Must be comfortable and experienced in filmography and editing
  • Knowledge of a variety of camera types, including RED, GoPro, DJI, Sony, and DSLR
  • Ability to manage time in an efficient manner that meets deadlines.
  • Knowledge of difference between cinematic and social media, the availability to shoot both.
  • Ability to ski preferred over snowboard.
  • Qualified drone operator with part 107


Hourly pay rate: $24.84 to $29.51
