Employee is responsible for preventive maintenance and repair of thermal processing equipment in the facility. In addition to these skills, this individual will be responsible for safe and compliant operation of refrigeration, ammonia, HVAC and engine room processes. HVAC employees at Smithfield perform skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the installation, maintenance, repair and operation of systems on heating, ventilating, refrigeration, air conditioning, steam ammonia. Team members at Smithfield perform physically demanding work that requires good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, strength and stamina. Team members must be available to work scheduled hours, which may include mandatory overtime, depending upon facility demands. Core Responsibilities
