Service Support Tech 2 - With sign-on bonus! A Day in Your Life at MKS: As a Service Support Technician II at MKS Instruments, you will partner with service to evaluate, and repair RF Generators. In this role, you will report to the Service Supervisor. This is a 1st or 3rd shift position. You Will Make an Impact By: * Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures. * Determines most cost-effective repair/resolution to minimize customer downtime. * Troubleshoot RF generator boards to component level. * Use electronics equipment to test the RF generator to the manufacturing specifications. Skills that You Bring: * Associate's degree in electronics from a two-year college, military, or equivalent working experience. * 2 + years of experience * Ability to read and understand technical documents and procedures. * Ability to troubleshoot electronic equipment to component level. * Advanced skills in Microsoft Office. * Excellent attention to detail. Preferred Skills: * Oracle data entry. * Test stand use and understanding. * Excellent communication, organizational skills. * Understanding of 6S and Lean methodology. Physical Demands and Working Conditions: * Ability to lift, pull, and push 50 lbs. * Ability to work overtime when required. Compensation and Benefits: Hourly Pay Range: $24-30 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.
