Who you are:

We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking an RFP Specialist who will be will responsible for proposal management, security questionnaire response management, and other RFX project related tasks. As an RFP Specialist your key area of responsibility will be 40% content writing and management, 40% proposal management, 15% managing proposal metrics and 5% managing Google doc style templates.


What you'll do:

For the proposal management duties, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of security questionnaires and other similar documents describing Geotab's products and services in response to requests from customers and/or partners. For the content writing and management duties, you will take the lead in creating new content as it becomes available, managing proposal response content in our library ensuring it's up-to-date, through regular subject-matter expert reviews and writing best practices. For managing proposal metrics, you will be responsible for tracking RFX activities and generating monthly and quarterly reports. The RFP Specialist/Content Writer will own all Google doc templates and make updates according to our corporate branding guidelines.


How you'll make an impact:

  • Manage vendor profile and due diligence requests, security questionnaires other proposals such as request for information.
  • Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to ensure clear timelines, deliverables and expectations are set.
  • Manage and generate RFX metrics for monthly and quarterly reporting.
  • Manage the Loopio Content Management system to ensure the content is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Develop, write, and edit content independently and with internal stakeholder teams; and capturing new content in Loopio.
  • Develop written and video training materials, and take a lead role in providing training to internal teams on how to use the Loopio system, writing best practices, RFX Team Training (Internal and External).
  • Own Google doc style templates, update when necessary by working with marketing to incorporate layouts and styles.
  • Other tasks as assigned.


What you'll bring to the role

  • 3 to 5 years of experience supporting proposals.
  • High accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent proofreading abilities.
  • Able to work well under pressure and respond to fast changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions.
  • A strong team-player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
  • Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides).) and/or MS Office.
  • Advance to expert level skill set in Google Docs and or MS Word.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.
