JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Department of Pediatrics at Penn State College of Medicine is seeking a Part-time Research Assistant to provide support to enroll patients in our Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance (CARRA) research study. Candidate must be organized and detailed oriented and will perform a variety of specialized tasks associated with the CARRA research study.Applicants will be expected to completed the needed training to enroll patients and be present in clinic to discuss risks and benefits of the study. Advanced medical knowledge is not needed. This position will be up 10 hours per week and must be available during clinic hours in Reading, PA.

The following clearances must be successfully completed for this position:

  • Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History
  • Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Criminal Background Check
