VSolvit is seeking an experienced, qualified candidate for a Management Analyst position with an Active Secret Clearance that will support VSolvit onsite at NSWC, Port Hueneme, CA. Under minimal supervision, this position will perform a variety of customer support related tasks including, but not limited to (see responsibilities list):

As with any position, additional expectations exist. Some of these include, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisor(s), staying focused on the assigned tasks, and completing other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Review all procurement purchase requests utilizing the Procurement Request Tool (PRT) or a designated replacement for that tool IAW NSWC PHD business processes and practices
  • Review technical specifications IAW NSWC PHD business processes and practices
  • Conduct market research to obtain price quotes and information regarding interested vendors for open purchases and document in the appropriate system and IAW NSWC PHD business processes and practices; to include systems such as Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), DoD E-Mail, OneTouch, GSA Advantage & WebFLIPS IAW appropriate to purchase type
  • Document market research results in the purchase request electronic database IAW NSWC PHD business processes and practices
  • Provide information that government personnel may use to identify suggested sources IAW NSWC PHD business processes and practices
  • Provide information to aid government employees in making those decisions IAW NSWC PHD business processes and practices
  • When required, research, request, and document the Unique Material Master (UMM) identification number for all material not found in U.S. Navy supply system
  • Process required purchase request information accurately into the Navy ERP system. PRs are reviewed and input into Navy ERP IAW NSWC PHD business processes and practices
  • Process Military Standard Requisitioning & Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP) Purchase Requests (PRs) in Navy ERP system using information received from the requirement generator IAW NSWC PHD business processes and practices
  • Process MILSTRIP Direct Cite PRs in Navy ERP using information received from the requirement generator IAW NSWC PHD business processes and practices
  • Process material and service P-card PRs in Navy ERP using information received from the requirement generator IAW NSWC PHD business processes and practices
  • Support the processing of outgoing funding documents (OFD) in Navy ERP using information received from the requirement generator IAW NSWC PHD business processes and practices
  • Process Service and Material Contract (SPS) PRs in Navy ERP using information received from the requirement generator IAW NSWC PHD business processes and practice
  • Track status of all initiated and assigned PRs through the entire Navy ERP workflow process IAW NSWC PHD business processes and practices
  • Review Navy ERP for rejections, for PRs with no purchase order number assigned, and to ensure they get approved IAW NSWC PHD business processes and practices

Basic Qualifications

  • United States Citizenship required
  • Active DoD SECRET Security Clearance
  • Associate's degree in Business, Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1-3 years experience with technical, programmatic, system, equipment, analysis, planning (budget and acquisition) in DoD or Government environment
  • Excellent analytical skills, business acumen, time-management, and effective communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of technical experience in support of Department of Defense (DoD) efforts to include: Programmatic Support, Equipment Support, and System Support
  • 1-3 years of project analyst or management experience, to include: Technology Assessments, Systems Analysis, Programmatic Support, Acquisition and Procurement Planning, Budget Planning, and Government Supply Coordination and Regulations
