Papillion, a Waste Connections company, is looking for an entry-level Staff Accountant to support our Omaha, NE team! This role is a developmental position leading to a career as a Controller for the company within 3 years. Controllers at Waste Connections are involved in every aspect of the business without having to stay in a cubicle all day! Working with the other departments might include riding along with drivers and our sales team, or getting familiar with our billing system by sitting with a Customer Service Representative. You are the business partner for your District Managers and key in the strategy decisions made daily! Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Experience in an accounting related role preferred Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, annual budgets, audits and system implantations.
