Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Standards Engineer (Environment & Sustainability) at UL Standards & Engagement. This is a hybrid opportunity based in one of our offices: Evanston, IL and Raleigh-Durham, NC The Senior Standards Engineer will support a diverse portfolio of standards and drive initiatives aimed at improving products, services and processes that reduce environmental risks and promote sustainable development, to advance the mission of UL Standards & Engagement (ULSE) to make the world safer, more secure, and sustainable. The Senior Standards Engineer will leverage expertise to address environmental impacts of consumer and industrial products across the value chain, with focus on renewable and clean energy, circular economy, climate adaptation, resilience, and broader sustainability landscape. As a subject matter expert, the Senior Standards Engineer will synthesize scientific insights and research development discoveries into actionable strategies to support the advancement of ULSE standards and refine testing methodologies.
