Synchron, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Protocol Administrative Assistant (Technical Lead) to support MDA at Fort Belvoir, VA. We are seeking candidates to provide the Missile Defense Agency with excellent administrative customer support.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and coordinate executive level correspondence.
  • Develop employee training programs and strategies including providing on the job training to meet the Agency's mission.
  • Develop and maintain administrative schedules including electronic schedules and calendars.
  • Work with and manage Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), For Official Use Only (FOUO), and Classified information handling programs and procedures.
  • Work with government time-management procedures and systems.
  • Work and operate in in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint at an expert level.


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • BA/BS AND 5 years of relevant protocol experience within DOD supporting General Officer/Flag Officers/Senior Executives Service (SES) and /or Garrison, Installation, Base level Commanders OR 8 years of relevant protocol experience within DOD supporting General Officer//Flag Officers/Senior Executives Service (SES) and /or Garrison, Installation, Base level Commanders.
  • 3 years' experience supervising and providing direction to team members.
  • 5 years' experience in planning, coordinating, executing, and providing logistical support for conferences, meetings, ceremonies, and social functions.
  • 5 years' experience and knowledge of military regulations, military customs, and courtesies.
  • 5 years' experience managing and coordinating government protocol events which may include scheduling venues, parking coordination, transportation, accommodating distinguished visitors, and coordinating audio/video requirements.
  • Possesses analytical and problem-solving skills for both technical and business-related matters.
  • Excellent communication skills to include phone, office etiquette, and written skills.
