Custom Solution and Application Lead Developer

As a member of the CNS Services team, you will take the lead in developing high-complexity features. You will provide technical leadership and guidance to a small team or across multiple project features, ensuring successful project delivery. You will drive technical discussions with peers to enhance and optimize areas of expertise, while contributing to the design of foundational architecture with a focus on performance and scalability. Additionally, you will advocate for non-functional requirements within the team, resolve complex customer issues, and enhance the codebase with measurable improvements in product behavior. You will also take ownership of complex features, ensuring they are delivered with the highest quality.

The candidate will lead the customized product development and delivery. The activity scope will cover mainly -



  • Contribute to Application Solution Description (SD) documents, Customer Requirements, and Architecture documents.
  • Develop detailed Low-Level Design (LLD) documents based on Architecture and High-Level Design (HLD) documents.
  • Design and implement customized solutions and applications tailored to specific customer needs.
  • Define the acceptance test strategy aligned with project requirements and features, and create test cases along with a comprehensive test plan.
  • Establish a trusted technical advisory relationship with engineering stakeholders on the customer team.
  • Troubleshoot issues and deliver effective resolutions.
  • Work autonomously in diverse environments, applying best practices and leveraging knowledge of business challenges to enhance products or services.
  • Serve as a professional advisor and mentor to staff, teams, or task forces.



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • 8+ years of overall experience in the telecom domain, ideally focused on core network function development, with at least 3+ years of experience in PERL and SQL-based development.
  • Experience with Greenplum is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Nokia NDS and Nokia SDL schemas is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, automation, shell scripting, Python scripting, and Apache JMeter scripting is highly desirable.
  • Proficient with development tools such as GitLab, Gerrit, and JIRA.
  • Desired working knowledge of IPv4 & IPv6, REST API, SOAP, LDAP, SPML, XML, YAML/JSON, and HTTP.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native technologies, DevOps methodologies, and CI/CD tools for deployment and integration is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
