Project Manager II

The project manager will lead new product development projects from concept through commercialization. The candidate will partner with technical leads and project teams to move products to market as quickly as possible while maintaining high standards of quality. During any given day the candidate may lead cross functional team meetings, develop their project teams, resolve project issues, develop the project Design History File or prepare updates for leadership. The candidate will interact with many different levels and functions within the organization to drive their projects forward. By joining our team, you'll play a vital role in leading the development of the next generation of Life Science products.

How You'll Make An Impact:



  • Identify interdependencies and look for strategic ways to to mitigate risks throughout the project and guiding the team around potential obstacles.
  • Use strong project and organizational knowledge, leadership and active facilitation to enable effective team meetings and high-performance teams.
  • Managing critical path items and successfully removing team roadblocks.
  • Leveraging well developed interpersonal skills to build & maintain positive working relationships with functional groups throughout the organization.
  • Creating and executing project plans/timelines and maintaining project records including project and design history files.


What You Bring:



  • Education: BS degree in engineering, chemistry or biology; Six Sigma green belt or PMP certification is a plus.
  • Work Experience: 5+ years in a technical project leadership role.
  • Must be a proactive leader who has an active management style and sense of ownership of project deliverables.
  • Must have a strong balance between science and business acumen with a deep desire to deliver business value to the organization.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively in leading project teams through obstacles and/or finding the best path forward.
  • Able to articulate extremely complex information throughout the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral), interpersonal skills, analytical/problem solving skills, negotiation skills, cross-functional team leadership skills and goal setting skills required.
  • Effective presentation and meeting skills within all levels of the organization and with a wide variety of external/internal colleagues and collaborators.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $114,700 to $157,800 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
