Non-Federal Work Study Student Worker - Game Room

This position provides coverage for the Recreation/Game Room desk. This is a non-federal work study position.



Hours are Flexible - 5-15 hours per week. All hours of operation needed. Limited hours available between sessions.
Specific need: 10:00 am-6:00 pm Monday-Thursday; 10:00 arn-4:00 pm Friday; closed Saturday, Sundays and holidays.
Essential Functions:
Duties include: Monitors the Recreation/Game Room space; checks out games, controllers, and other equipment to participants; keeps the room neat and organized; notifies the Coordinator of Student Life of any equipment or repair needs; keeps accurate record of game room usage; and other duties as assigned by supervisor.



Education, Experience and Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Must be currently enrolled as a student at Stark State College.



Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required:
Must have strong customer service skills. Must have effective personal communication skills. Prior knowledge of video games and systems including their connectivity and capability preferred but not required. Outgoing, energetic, self-starter a plus. The ability to interact with a diverse group of people and apply good judgement to diverse situations. The ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner. The ability to present and conduct oneself in a professional manner.
