Job Summary: The Contracts & Compliance Sr. Associate is responsible for conducting contracts and compliance issues related to all aspects of business development, practice development and project delivery activities. In this role, the Contracts & Compliance Sr. Associate will be charged with participating in leadership discussions to build the client base necessary to make the Federal Practice successful. Job Duties: Contract Vehicles:
- Researches and identifies relevant contract vehicles (non-competitive and competitive)
- Prepares and drafts contractual and firm information to secure contract vehicles
- Assists with proposal language for competitive contract vehicles
- Complies with all ongoing contract vehicle requirements
Teaming Agreements:
- Drafts and negotiates non-disclosure agreements with potential teaming partners
- Drafts and negotiates teaming agreements with pursuit partners
- Drafts and negotiates subcontracts with teaming partners
Proposal Support:
- Reviews RFQs and RFPs and identifies proposal response and contract delivery compliance requirements
- Prepares proposal responses for contractual compliance requirements
- Reviews relevant RFQ and RFP clauses including FAR or GSA Schedule clauses
- Partners with BDO legal department and outside counsel to determine firm recommendations and responses
- Coordinates with government acquisition and contracts representatives
- Supports development and submission of RFQ and RFP clarification questions
Project Compliance:
- Administers and complies with all contract delivery requirements
- Maintains primary contact with Government Contracting Officer regarding all aspects of contract kickoff, deliverable timeline, other provisions
- Assists in inception to close-out contract administration
Compliance Maintenance:
- Maintains internal processes and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations
- Conducts periodic compliance audits as required by federal government regulations for federal contractors

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Education:
- Bachelors degree required
- Advanced degree preferred
Experience:
- Four (4) years or more of relevant contracts and compliance experience with the Federal Government required
- Three (3) years or more supporting Federal Government proposals required
- Experience applying knowledge of Federal Acquisitions Regulations, Defense Acquisitions Regulations and other applicable contracting rules, requirements and procedures required
- Prior experience working within a professional services firm preferred
License/Certifications:
Software:
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suites, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word, required
- Prior experience utilizing online documentation / proposal software, preferred
- Knowledge of CRM systems or database systems, preferred
Language:

- Solid understanding of Federal Government proposal processes and requirements as well as procurement processes and policies required
- Well developed and professional interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Superior organizational skills required with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Detail oriented with in-depth knowledge and application of English grammar and ability to proofread all written materials including proposals, pitches, presentations, etc.
Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography. National Range: $105,000 - $125,000 Maryland Range: $105,000 - $125,000 NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $105,000 - $125,000 Washington DC Range: $105,000 - $125,000
