Job Title: Skilled Assessor

JOB PURPOSE:

To assess the technical abilities and knowledge of potential TMMAL employees applying for various technician openings.

DUTIES:*



  1. Administers technical test focused on the disciplines of Electrical, Mechanical, and Pnuematics/Hydraulics.
  2. Evaluates and reports candidate's performance according to set standards and rating scales.
  3. Prepares equipment and documentation prior to assessment.
  4. Identifies and communicates equipment needs accordingly.
  5. Behaves in a safety minded manner.
  6. Attends assessor meetings as necessary.
  7. Enters test scores into computer.
  8. Creates/maintains files of tested applicants in appropriate categories.
  9. Assists in scheduling testing.

  • Operates by using good judgment when focusing in the customer.
  • Follows standard work procedures diligently.



MINIMUM AND PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:



  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, 2-year technical degree or at least 3 years' experience in related field.
  • Familiarity with computers and Microsoft applications.
  • Willing to sign a confidentiality agreement.
  • Willing to conduct assessments at the designated Assessment Center in the Huntsville location.
