Your Role With Us:

Salem Health seeking full-time Anesthesiologists to join our growing Anesthesiology Department. As an Anesthesiologist at Salem Health, you'll experience an unparalleled life-work balance with a maximum 50-hour work week inclusive of call (maximum of one day per week and one weekend per month) and 10 weeks of annual paid time off. Our collaborative practice provides the opportunity to work in a patient-first environment while working diverse, complex and more common cases including cardiothoracic, trauma, neurosurgery, OB, orthopedics, bariatrics and more.

Background/Expertise:

Graduate from an approved school of medicine

Completion of an ACGME/AOA accredited residency training program in Anesthesiology

Board Certification in Anesthesiology

Applicants who are not Board Certified must obtain board certification within five years from completion of the applicable Residency and/or Fellowship program for the privileges being requested at Salem Hospital

Graduation from accredited fellowship program in Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology with board certification or have commensurate experience in cardiothoracic anesthetics.

Trans-esophageal echocardiography board certification or have commensurate experience in echo cardiography

Applicants who are not Board Certified must obtain board certification within five years from completion of the applicable Residency and/or Fellowship program for the privileges being requested at Salem Hospital

Demonstrate experience and current competency, to include the performance of at least 400 anesthesiology cases during the past 24 months at all hospitals and surgical facilities

Demonstration and experience of 100 cardiothoracic anesthetics during the past 24 months at all hospitals and surgical facilities.

Current unrestricted Oregon medical license.

Compliance with the ABA Maintenance of Certification in Anesthesiology Program
