Job Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Plan, budget, scope, lead and execute risk-focused and regulatory required reviews of the technology areas and processes. Lead multiple audits concurrently, including the scoping and planning of the audits, employing audit and analytical procedures and techniques to assess the design and operating effectiveness of the controls to mitigate the risks, and discussing the results with the firm's local and global management. Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of transaction banking and related business areas, its products, and supporting functions. Independently identify risk associated with technology implementations, enhanced controls, technology governance, privilege management, change management (including Software Development Lifecycle) and data completeness and integrity controls. Perform the design and execution of controls testing within transaction banking and validate the remediation of identified system control weaknesses, utilizing various techniques such as data analysis, code inspection, re-performance of processing logic, observation, and interviews to evaluate the adequacy of technology controls. Communicate scope, progress, and results of audit reviews to internal technology and business stakeholders. Document audit testing and results in a clear and concise manner. Coordinate with business auditors on integrated audits to assess business process and systems for mitigating financial, regulatory, and reputational risk. Supervise junior members of the team including summer interns, analysts, as a project manager during projects. Perform continuous monitoring and develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of technology areas and processes.

Job Requirements: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Management, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related role OR Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Management, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Must have three (3) years of experience (with a Master's degree) or five (5) years of experience (with a Bachelor's degree) with: utilizing audit techniques including data analysis, code inspection, re-performance, observation and interview; utilizing object oriented programming concepts and languages (including at least one of the following: Java or C++), scripting languages (including VBscript, javascript, or PERL); data analytics tools (including at least one of the following: SQL, Audit Command Language (ACL), or Aqua Data Studio); database management systems (including MS SQL Server, Oracle, or Sybase.); Operating Systems (including Windows, and UNIX,) and MS Office tools (including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Visio) to identify business and technology risks and analyze system controls; application security management including user entitlements, authentication, accountability, and data protection; System architecture and design including availability, performance, and data integrity; conducting technology operations including change management, data backup and retention; Technology governance including technology risk management, policies and procedures, rules, regulations, and intellectual property; protection over sensitive data including material non-public information (MNPI) and personally identifiable information (PII); communicating with and posting stakeholders and senior management on audit scopes, timelines, statuses, and findings; and balancing multiple technology audits with tight and competing deadlines. Must have one (1) year of experience with: planning, budgeting, scoping, leading, and executing risk-focused and regulatory required reviews of technology areas and processes within Banking Technology and Research Technology.

Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York-based position is $194,000/year - $230,000/year.
