Developer Education Manager

Location: Remote, USA

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $125,000.00 - $165,000.00 (Range applies to US candidates only) + Benefits/Variable Comp/Equity - Range may vary based on experience.

Summary

OneStream is looking for a creative Developer Education Manager who is passionate about educating developer audiences. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing the creation of comprehensive programs that engage with and educate developers on the OneStream platform. It will require a good technical foundation and a desire to empower developers to be successful in building on the OneStream Platform.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities



  • Develop and execute a comprehensive learning journey that empowers and activates the developer ecosystem.
  • Create content which effectively communicates the value proposition of building on OneStream.
  • Drive and execute the creation of technical demos that showcase the capabilities and use cases of the OneStream Platform.
  • Align closely with cross-functional teams on the content necessary to support the product roadmap, marketing campaigns, and developer engagement initiatives.
  • Work with leadership to identify the key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives and key results (OKRs) that measure the success of the Developer Education program, and then track and analyze those results to drive continuous improvements.
  • Drive consistency and build trust, meeting and exceeding business expectations through innovative and unconventional strategies.


Required Education and Experience



  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years building educational curriculum.
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience (or relevant experience).
  • Technical knowledge and ability to create, present, and consult on product demos related to development practices and principles.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with teams like Product, Marketing, and Engineering.
  • Experience with building out developer education programs like Salesforce Trailhead, Twilio Education, etc.
  • Experience building out the strategy and curriculum development for developer education.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and technical writing skills.
  • Proven experience thriving in a complex multidisciplinary environment.


Preferred Education and Experience



  • Experience with C#, VB.NET, or other object-oriented programming languages.
  • Experience with software engineering best practices (e.g. unit testing, code reviews, design documentation).
  • Experience with API development and documentation.
  • Previous experience in a Developer Advocacy, or Developer Education, or related field.
  • Prior experience and/or certification with any of the following products:

    • OneStream
    • Oracle Hyperion HFM, FDM, Planning, Essbase
    • Blackline
    • SAP Outlooksoft BPC
    • SAP BOFC (Cartesis)
    • IBM Cognos or other EPM solutions.
    • Other proprietary software, especially financial related.
