Advantage Resourcing is on the lookout for an Assembler to join a cutting-edge team in Plainfield, CT. In this role you will be responsible for assembling and soldering components on printed circuit boards and installing cable assemblies. We're seeking someone who radiates positivity, is mechanically inclined in electronics, and has a passion to learn and grow. Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:30am - 4:00pm

Pay rate: $18 - $24/hr. (Depending on proven experience)

Essential tasks:

Install and assemble components like switches, transformers, capacitors, and semiconductors on circuit boards, while performing touch-ups, rework, inspection, and cleaning. Follow assembly drawings and verbal instructions to align and attach parts using tools such as soldering irons, pliers, and microscopes. Replace defective components, rework faulty PCBs, and enter necessary data, including serial numbers and rework notes, into the computer system.

Qualifications:



  • Familiarity with electronic components, Electrostatic Discharge, and ability to read assembly drawings and work instructions.
  • Experience working under a microscope and handling very small parts and tools.
  • Mechanically inclined with strong manual dexterity for precision tasks.
  • Commitment to high-quality workmanship and timely completion of tasks.
  • J-STD-001 certification preferred and willingness to perform various assigned tasks.
