Your Job

Georgia-Pacific Consumer Operations is seeking interested entry-level professionals to be considered for our Industrial Electrical Internship team supporting the Consumer Products Group Operations located in Muskogee, OK. The Muskogee facility uses integrated technology to manufacture tissue and paper towel products in a progressive production environment.

Our manufacturing facility has a broad range of electrical applications from the upstream processes of power generation, pulping and paper operations to downstream converting, palletizing and use of highly automated systems.

What You Will Do in Your Role

* Provide electrical and instrumentation support to a large manufacturing facility, including opportunities in equipment troubleshooting and electrical reliability.

* Motor/Drive Systems
* Plant Electrical Distribution
* Sensors, Analytics, and Vision Systems

The Experience You Will Bring

Minimum Qualifications:
* Currently enrolled or recent graduate of a relevant degree, certificate or workforce training program
* Willingness to work in an industrial environment
* Ability to meet physical demands such as:

* Climbing stairs, ladders, and working at heights
* Ability to sit, stand, kneel as necessary ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:
* Strong desire and/or foundation in learning and developing more in securing skills in advanced electrical technology.
