Job Title: Sr. Analyst, System Testing I Duration: 6 months with possible extension Location: Columbia, SC- Onsite / partial onsite preferred but open to remote Hours - 8:00 AM - 05:00 PM - Please Note *Testing & validation atleast twice a week after hours.This is required after deployments and maintenance changes. Job Description: Provide service for multiple clients. Make recommendations to clients on how to improve testing activities. Perform quality checks across various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures, and methodologies are being followed. 40% Perform application testing analysis and lead activities that may include leading the development of test plans, cases, scenarios, and matrices, attending sessions with customers, planning and disbursing projects to team members, completing reports and developing processes. 30% Create test cases, execute testing, and document results. Define and analyze quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status. Lead process improvement initiatives related to testing methodologies and techniques. Make recommendations to clients on how to improve operational workflows. 30% Provide service for multiple clients, which may include onsite service where needed. Facilitate and lead meetings with customers to understand and resolve technical issues. Mentor and provide guidance to testing staff. Day to Day: Develop Test Suites to include functional tests. Develop Testing Matrix for manual validation & testing Soft Skills: Experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban Project Management Methodologies Experience presenting to stakeholders during Sprint Reviews Communicate with Developers, Product Owner, Stakeholders and management to track report of defects and test results. About The Team: 8-9 Member Web Development Team running an Agile/Sprint based Development Life Cycle. Fast paced Web Development using web and cloud technologies. Required Technologies: Experience developing Automated Tests for Web based Applications Experience developing JUnit Unit Tests, Selenium functional Tests (Java) and Performance Load Testing using JMeter type tools or CloudTest type platform. Experience with Static Code Analysis Tools like SonarQube Experience using and configuring Jenkins pipeline Manual Testing & Validation of Use Cases and Scenarios Validation & Testing of data changes. API testing using automated programs or Application calls. Experience and fluency using Github Nice To Have: JUnit for Java Unit testing Selenium for functional testing (Java) CloudTest or LoadRunner or equivalent for Load Testing API Testing using Postman API Automation Skills: Required Skills and Abilities: Strong analysis skills. Skill in testing data creation and manipulation. Thorough understanding of data processing terminology, operations, and architecture utilized in debugging application/environmental problems. Skilled in negotiation and/or influencing business or technical partners. Ability to write complex test cases/scripts. Excellent communication skills. Ability to document complex problems and assist in their resolution. Ability to understand functional connections between applications. Ability to utilize test requirements, specifications, diagrams, logic functions, etc. Required Software and Tools: Standard office equipment. Education** Required Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or other job-related degree. or 4 years of job-related work experience or 2 years of job-related experience plus an associate's degree in computer science, Information Technology or other job-related degree. Required Experience: 7 years of IT experience to include experience developing test plans and/or test matrices.
