Marketing Communications Intern

As Marketing Communications Intern for Onshape, you will work closely with the MarCom team to assist with various marketing initiatives aimed at increasing event participation, enhancing media presence, and measuring branding efforts. You will also gain hands-on experience in webinar coordination, content creation, and partnership development within the tech industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in organizing logistics for tradeshows and tech meetups, including coordination of marketing materials and post-event analysis.
  • Research and identify potential speaking opportunities and assist in preparing call for papers submissions.
  • Collaborate with the team to draft press releases, articles, and pitches for industry publications. Develop industry-specific media lists.
  • Track and analyze branding metrics to measure Onshape's share of voice across various platforms and channels. Contribute insights and recommendations based on the analysis to improve brand visibility.
  • Assist marketing communications with daily responsibilitiesincluding general administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience working with PR Firms, crafting media pitching, and pitching journalists.
  • Proficiency in conducting market research to identify relevant events, media outlets, and potential partnership opportunities.
  • Basic analytical skills to help track and analyze metrics, interpreting data to make informed recommendations
  • Familiarity with marketing tools, content management systems, and social media platforms.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt quickly to new tasks, and take initiative in executing projects while seeking guidance when needed.
