This position reports to

Quality Specialist

Your role and responsibilities

Inspect and troubleshoot any defects or discrepancies in conformity
Assist other QC(Quality Control) Technicians, Operators, Wirers and Assemblers when quality questions arise
Perform inspections using measurement tooling (calipers, gauges, meters, etc.)
Train other employees
Inspect, examine, and observe for product or equipment defects
Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications for the role
  • 3 years of experience in assembly, wiring, and/or fabrication
  • Experience using computers Microsoft office apps like excel, word and web applications
  • 1-year experience in quality
  • Associate degree in a technical study preferred
  • Ability and willingness to read and interpret technical drawings and models
  • Skilled in using tools, such as a screwdriver, crimper, and air gun
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to climb ladders, stand/walk for long periods of time
  • Understand and carry out oral and written instructions
  • Work along of as a member of a team
  • Work rapidly for long periods of time
  • Initiative, teamwork, flexibility & attention to detail
  • Desired experience in SAP, supplier net, salesforce, windchill, fletch (waiver/ncm workflows), BOX and SharePoint
  • Ability to work with teams and coordinate activities like rework, collaborate with suppliers and facilitate return of materials (RMA's)
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
