US Service Sales Leader

Your role and responsibilities

Working within the Electrification Services business (ELSE) the Key Account Manager develops, implements and updates the account strategy for targeted Data Center customers. In this role, you will be responsible for driving both the short-term performance and the long-term business relationship with the key accounts. The Key Account Manager shall be fully dedicated to agreed targeted Data Center Accounts.
This is a remote position. Successful candidates should be already located in the United States.
This role is contributing to the Electrification Service division in the United States.
You will be mainly accountable for:
*Understand the Industry's key business drivers and environment, assess their impact and opportunities for ABB, align strategies with specific business objectives, and promote in-ternal collaboration for mutual economic benefit within the broad US Electrification Commercial Organization
*Interpreting the global industry segment strategy to meet region/country requirements and implementing with country specific action plans.
*Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders, conveying ABB's value by aligning with their needs and objectives, and collaborating closely with the services BU as well as broad EL US commercial team(s).
*Create tactical account plans that align with customer initiatives, guide Services Operations and local sales organizations in plan implementation, establish local account teams, and facilitate information sharing and internal collaboration for mutual economic benefit.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required and 9+ years of related military/work experience, or Associate's degree and 11+ years of related military/work experience, or High School Diploma and 13+ years of related military/work experience required.
  • Proven experience selling to key decision makers in data center segment required.
  • Knowledgeable on ABB products and services a strong plus.
  • Ability to translate insights into tangible business outcomes.
  • Understanding of key business drivers in market and ability to challenge customer motivation and thinking.
  • Ability to develop sales strategies and assess new opportunities.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $111,300 and $206,700 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus.
