***This position is an onsite role based out of our New York City, NY office.***

About you

Are you a dynamic and passionate leader? Are you effective at building and fostering relationships? Do you love to bring new and innovative ideas to improve office operations? We are looking for an Operations Director to lead our Tri-State offices.

As a key member of the regional leadership team and right hand to Regional Market Leaders, you will be responsible for executing and leading the strategy and tactics to build continuous improvement in service delivery and the ongoing development of an inspiring sales performance culture. In addition, you will lead and oversee all components of the regional office's operations including purchasing, budgeting, financial management, staff management and broker communication, in conjunction with the Regional Market Leaders. Lastly, you will act as a business partner to the Regional Market leaders, and will be oversee local Operation Managers, focusing on the alignment of the administrative and operational platform delivery model in support of strategic business plans.

In this role you will...

  • Provide direction for all regional operations programs, policies, procedures, and projects for all local Operations Managers.
  • Motivate and coach Operations Managers in the pursuit and achievement of personal and professional development goals.
  • Manage the regional brokerage operations team with clearly stated and measurable goals and objectives aligned with the overall strategy.
  • Develop and execute a Regional Brokerage Operation strategy consistent with the overall US strategic direction.
  • Ensure local revenue recognition processes are followed and operationalized in local offices which adhere to company and GAAP guidelines.
  • Drive operational efficiencies in the business support platform (research, marketing, conveyancing, training, onboarding, reporting, local people services, facilities, and office services)
  • Partner with Regional Market Leaders in submission of realistic and achievable budgets and forecasts to ensure proper business planning.
  • Ensure consistent production of financial reporting for Regional Market Leaders.
  • Assist Market Leaders and local Managers to identify training needs and provide training resources for all offices within their region.
  • Provide oversight and guidance of retention practices across the region - development planning, rewards, and recognition practices.
  • Continuously evaluate regional processes to ensure maximum efficiencies and compliance with policies and internal controls to ensure consistency and quality of execution and performance.
  • Partner with People Services in ensuring legal compliance with issues such as broker contracts, employee relation and conflict resolution.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of progressive operations management experience managing in commercial real estate.
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills and enterprising in nature.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative by trying new ideas and developing creative solutions.
  • High degree of professionalism and passion for success.
  • Strong communications and consensus building skills.
  • Highly proactive and decisive in properly hiring and aligning the right resources.
  • Strong focus on business partnership and high degree of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a complex and fast-paced environment

Area/Location Specific: New York City, NY (Onsite)

Approximate Salary Range for Role: $122,000 to $250,000.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
