About Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital

Founded in 1900, Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital (BWFH) has been meeting the health needs of Jamaica Plain and the people of southwestern Boston and the surrounding suburbs for over 100 years. Our 171-bed hospital offers complete medical, surgical and psychiatric adult inpatient care, as well as a full complement of emergency, ambulatory and diagnostic outpatient services. Employee Resource Groups

One of the ways we demonstrate our commitment to Diversity and Inclusion at BWFH is through the support of our Employee Resource Groups. Our current active groups are:

• The Association of Multicultural Member of Partners (AMMP), whose mission is commitment to the advancement, retention, recruitment, and development of multicultural professionals into leadership roles at all levels and areas of the Partners organization.
• Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) and Allies, whose mission is to create a welcoming and affirming environment for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender employees, patients, families and friends.
• Emerging Leaders Committee, whose mission is to foster growth, improve retention, and create a sense of community among BWFH’s young professionals and early careerists.
