Serving the Community The UW Credit Union has a strong commitment to the communities we serve. We provide financial education and scholarships, donate to charitable organizations, and help sponsor food drives and other community events. Lifetime Membership We began serving UW faculty members in 1931. Now we serve UW and Edgewood College faculty, staff, students, alumni and their immediate families, people who have worked for Covance Clinical Research Units, and members of the community that live or work within 5 miles of a branch. You can graduate, change jobs, leave the area-but you never have to leave the UW Credit Union. Your membership lasts a lifetime.
