We Energies is the trade name of Wisconsin Electric Power Company and Wisconsin Gas LLC, two utility subsidiaries of WEC Energy Group. Our business began with formation of The Milwaukee Electric Railway and Light Co. in 1896. Today, our 4,300 employees serve more than 1.1 million electric customers in Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and 1.1 million natural gas customers in Wisconsin. The company also supplies steam heat for more than 400 downtown Milwaukee customers. Often recognized as one of the nation’s premier energy companies, we were named the most reliable utility in the Midwest last year and have been ranked as a leader in customer satisfaction by J.D. Power and Associates. In addition, our parent company again was named to Corporate Responsibility Magazine’s list of the nation’s 100 best corporate citizens.
